Caring for your Reborn

      Be gentle with your reborn like you would a real baby.  There's a lot of time that goes into each one. Never force your Reborn limbs for posing or dressing.  Never carry your reborn by the limbs as theses action can cause damage to your Reborn doll.  Reborns need to be kept away from extreme heat & cold.  Never leave your reborn in a hot car.  This could cause damage to the Reborn vinyl parts.  Your reborn is filled with tiny glass beads for weight and premium poly-fil for softness.  Never submerge your reborn in water.  When your become Reborn dusty simply wipe down with a soft damp washcloth.  Never use anything sharp near your Reborn as this could scratch your baby’s paint.  Always wash new clothing before dressing your Reborn.  Sometimes the dyes in the clothing stains the vinyl (ESPECIALLY DENIM).  Do not try to reposition your Reborn eyes as this could cause the eyes to become dislodged.  Dampen Rebon's hair with water/leave in conditioner and gently style with a wide tooth comb/brush.  IMPORTANT: You must be very gentle with styling your Reborn hair. Just like with your hair, it can also break with rough styling.  Some shedding of your reborn is normal.  If too much hair is shedding then you may be using the wrong styling tool or styling is not gentle enough. If your baby comes with Mohair,  you can maintain the curls with leave in conditioner, use rollers and let air dry to achieve tight curls.  Never hot curl Mohair (it's not real hair).  You can only use hot curlers on human hair babies. Never spray any aerosol hair spray, oil sheen, acetone (fingernail polish remover) or body spray to your baby as this may strip their color. Never blow dry Reborns hair; this could cause scorching to the hair.  Always air dry. DO NOT LEAVE IN THE CAR!

 **   WARNING:  FOR REBORNS WITH MAGNETS** The magnets that I use to attach pacifiers are very strong neodymium magnets.  These magnets are very dangerous if swallowed.  Keep away from pets and small children.  Keep reborn dolls 2 feet away from pacemakers and other electronics to avoid interference.  If cared for properly, your new Reborn baby will bring you many year of joy and become a family heirloom.
